This training includes the 2020 Rule Changes by BHEC for TX LPC, LMFT, and LSW.

As of September 1st, 2020, the Behavioral Health Executive Council is now adopting rules and investigating complaints in Texas. The structure of BHEC and wait times with BHEC are addressed. The 2020 proposed changes and current rules for LPC, LMFT, and LSW are included. Ethical dilemma vignettes are utilized through the training to aid in evaluating participant professional relationships, billing practices, paperwork, and professional practice.

  1. Identify changes to Rules and Code of Ethics for TX LPC, LMFT and LSW licenses
  2. Apply Rules and Code of Ethics to 15+ ethical dilemma vignettes
  3. Evaluate current paperwork and professional practices according to ethical standards required in the Rules and Code of Ethics

Dr. Rhonda Johnson


Dr. Johnson is the owner of a large group private practice, the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships, which was established in 2007. She is also the owner of CCFAM Training, established in 2012, specializing as a Live, Virtual, and Online CE provider with a focus on supervision, Texas Ethics, play therapy, and children who have experienced trauma. Through CCFAM Training, Dr. Johnson also provides private practice coaching and consulting for mental health professionals in leadership and supervisory roles, as well as supervision for LPC, LMFT, and RPT.

Approved Continuing Education Provider

CCFAM Training has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7105. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CCFAM Training is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
