This training addresses the leading mental health concerns of children and adolescents. Many times, the school counselor is the first person students go to seek support. While some students may need more help than what can be provided at school, there are many ways that school counselors can help students identify symptoms, talk through how it is affecting them, and help them learn coping strategies that they can utilize at school. The goal of this training is to provide some tangible tools and exercises that school counselors can use when working with students.
