DESCRIPTION

Are you up to date with major changes to rules from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and LPC, LMFT, LSW, and LPSY Board rules? This training will utilize Texas state licensing Rules, Codes of Ethics, and How to User Guides. A PowerPoint with a question-and-answer format will be used to identify significant areas and commonly missed rules of professional practice including CE renewal requirements, the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality, professional responsibility, relationship with other professionals, evaluation and assessment, supervision, and each board’s How to User Guides for technology and telehealth. Participants will identify current and new rules and apply them to professional relationships, paperwork, and professional practice through ethical dilemma scenarios.

*Note: Each year, we update our trainings by recording a new version.
The handouts for this training are updated throughout the year every time there are TX rule updates. The handouts included with this training are: an up to date summary of all changes to board Rules and Code of Ethics, current Proposed rules, and an excel CE table to track CEs for state licenses and other certifications.
