About the Trainings

What is the difference between Live/Virtual and On-Demand trainings?

Both our Live/Virtual and On-Demand trainings are the same course. The difference is in how and when you complete them. Live/Virtual trainings take place on scheduled dates and times, while On-Demand trainings can be accessed and completed online at any time. On-Demand courses are self-paced and allow more flexibility. 

Are Live/Virtual and On-Demand trainings the same course content?

Yes. On-Demand trainings are the exact same course content as the Live/Virtual version. The On-Demand format uses recordings from a previous Live/Virtual session. 

Purchasing and Access

How do I purchase an On-Demand training?

To purchase an On-Demand training: 

  1. Click “On-Demand Trainings” in the top menu of the website. 
  2. Hover over the 3 or 6 CE Training options and select your course. 
  3. Scroll down and click “Register Here.” 
  4. If you do not have an account, complete the registration form and activate your account using the link sent to your email (check spam if needed). 
  5. If you already have an account, log in. 
  6. Go to Profile → My Profile, locate the training, and click “Enroll Now.” 
  7. Click “Take this Course” to add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. 

How do I access the On-Demand training I purchased?

To access your On-Demand training: 

  1. Go to training@ccfam.com 
  2. Click “Already Registered?” in the upper right corner 
  3. Log in using your username and password 
  4. From your profile page, find your course under “Your Courses” 
  5. Click the course name, scroll down, and click the lesson to begin 

How long do I have access to my On-Demand training?

There is not a set time limit for access to a single On-Demand Training. The exception is if you take either our Clinical Supervisor or TX LCP/LMFT Supervisor training, and by law, these must be completed within 90 days from date of purchase. 

Can I pause and resume an On-Demand training?

Certainly! You will have the ability to go at your own pace, which means you can pause and resume your training as you wish with the time you have available. 

Login and Account Support

I tried to reset my password but didn’t receive the reset email. What should I do?

Make sure you are checking the email address you used to register. Please allow up to 10 minutes for the reset email to arrive and check your spam folder. The email will come from website@training.ccfam.com. If it does not arrive, you may try resetting again after waiting. 

I am locked out of my account. How can I regain access?

Please email training@ccfam.com and we can unlock your account. 

Live/Virtual Trainings

I purchased a Live/Virtual training but don’t see it in my profile. Is that normal?

Yes. Only On-Demand trainings appear in your profile. Live/Virtual trainings will not be listed there. Course materials and details are sent by email to the address you used when registering. 

What time are Live/Virtual trainings, and what time zone are they listed in?

All training times are listed in Central Standard Time (CST). 

  • 6-hour trainings: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST 
  • 3-hour AM trainings: 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM CST 
  • 3-hour PM trainings: 1:00 PM – 4:15 PM CST 

Dates, times, and details are listed on the training page under Live/Virtual Trainings on the website. 

When will I receive the Zoom link and course materials for my Live/Virtual training?

You will receive three emails: 

  1. Monday before the training week: General information and Zoom link 
  2. Monday of the training week: Course materials and Zoom link 
  3. Morning of the training: Zoom link, posttest, and evaluation forms 

Please check your spam folder if you do not see these emails. 

Transfers and Changes

What are my options if I can’t attend the training I registered for?

We offer a one-time transfer accommodation. Options include: 

  • Transferring to a different date of the same Live/Virtual training 
  • Transferring to a different Live/Virtual training with the same number of CE hours 
  • Transferring to the On-Demand version of the same training 

Please email training@ccfam.com with your situation and preferred option. 

Can I transfer from a Live/Virtual training to the On-Demand version?

Yes. This is a commonly requested option and allows you to complete the same training content on your own schedule. 

CE Credits and Certificates

When and how will I receive my CE certificate?

When completing an On-Demand course, your certificate will be available immediately. For Live/Virtual courses, please give us a few weeks to email your certificate to you. It will come from training@ccfam.com. 

What if I lose my CE certificate or need it resent?

If you need to have your CE certificate resent, please contact us at training@ccfam.com. 

Are your trainings approved for NBCC and EMDRIA CE credits?

All of our trainings are approved for NBCC hours, and we are accredited continuing education provider #7105. Our EMDR-related trainings are all EMDRIA certified under approval #21024. 

Supervisor Training FAQ’s

Does the Clinical Supervisor Training meet NBCC Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) requirements?

Yes. Our Clinical Supervisor Training fulfills the 45-hour training requirement for the NBCC Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Additional requirements are determined by NBCC. 

Does the Clinical Supervisor Training meet my state’s supervisor requirements?

The Clinical Supervisor Training can be used in any state that recognizes NBCC. However, each state board determines its own requirements, and additional state-specific training may be required. You should verify requirements with your state licensing board. 

If I live in Texas, which supervisor training should I take?

If you live in Texas, we strongly recommend the Texas LPC & LMFT Supervisor Training, as it is specifically designed to meet Texas BHEC requirements. 

Does the Texas LPC & LMFT Supervisor Training meet Texas BHEC requirements?

Yes. The Texas LPC & LMFT Supervisor Training is designed specifically to meet Texas BHEC requirements. 

Does your Supervisor Training meet requirements for Texas Licensed Social Workers (LCSWs)?

No. The Social Work Board requires supervisor training to be led by an LCSW, and this course does not meet that requirement. 

What should I do if I submitted the wrong homework assignment?

Please email the correct assignment to training@ccfam.com. 

I completed all On-Demand Supervisor Training homework but haven’t heard back. What should I do?

Please email training@ccfam.com to notify us that you have completed all assignments, as the system does not automatically alert Dr. Johnson.
