15 of the 20 required consultation hours towards EMDRIA’s EMDR certification may be with a consultant in training. 10 of the total hours must be individual. 5 of the 20 hours must be with a EMDRIA Approved Consultant. All hours accrued towards EMDR Certification with EMDRIA must be done after the Basic Training certificate is received from an EMDRIA approved EMDR training is awarded.
