Dr. Rachel Grimes is a clinician, educator, and clinical leader with more than two decades of experience working with trauma across children, families, and medical settings. Her path into the field was shaped early by a personal experience that revealed the impact a skilled counselor can have in moments of crisis. That experience continues to inform her work today and her commitment to helping others find lasting healing. She is EMDR certified and an approved consultant, and her work focuses on helping clients process trauma and attachment wounds in ways that lead to meaningful change.
Rachel has provided care and training in a wide range of environments, including hospitals, private practice, and military communities overseas. She is known for creating engaging and interactive trainings that hold attention while still addressing complex, often heavy topics. In addition to her clinical work, she is deeply invested in developing other clinicians and has mentored and supported many in pursuing advanced trauma training.
She currently serves as a practice owner, clinical supervisor, and educator. Her work is grounded in the simple belief that healing is not only possible, but sustainable when people are given the right support and tools.
