BIO

Ashlee Coleman has been in private practice since 2013. Her clinical work focuses on complex trauma, dissociation, and attachment-related presentations, including many clients who have not responded to more traditional approaches. She is known for integrating EMDR therapy with developmentally informed and trauma-sensitive interventions, helping clients move toward greater stability and meaningful change.

Ashlee is often joined in her work by her psychiatric service dog, Winston, who is trained to provide support in a therapeutic environment. In addition to her clinical work, she provides consultation, supervision, and training for therapists seeking to deepen their use of EMDR in complex cases. Her experience includes work with a children’s advocacy center, public schools, and higher education, where she has served as both instructor and guest lecturer and developed a strong foundation in teaching and mentoring clinicians.

Ashlee has presented workshops for professional audiences for many years and is committed to helping clinicians expand their skills with clarity and confidence. Her teaching reflects a steady, thoughtful approach to trauma work, with a focus on therapeutic pacing, client readiness, and staying present in complex clinical work.
