This Continuing Education Unit (CEU) workshop is designed for mental health professionals interested in expanding their therapeutic toolkit by incorporating experiential, adventure-based activities into traditional clinical settings with youth and young adults. Participants will explore the historical development of Adventure-Based Counseling (ABC), gain insight into adapting outdoor activities for indoor or clinical environments, and learn how to facilitate these interventions to enhance client engagement and outcomes. Through hands-on demonstrations and case studies, attendees will leave equipped with practical strategies for integrating ABC into their existing practices, fostering resilience, teamwork, and emotional growth in diverse populations.
