DESCRIPTION

Are you up to date on the latest rule changes from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and LPC, LMFT, LSW, and LPSY boards? This on-demand training, recorded in an engaging Q&A format, uses state licensing rules, codes of ethics, and user guides to highlight significant updates and commonly missed requirements. Participants will gain practical insights into applying current and new rules to professional relationships, documentation, supervision, and telehealth practices. 

Note: This training is recorded and updated annually. Handouts are refreshed throughout the year whenever Texas rules change. Resources include a comprehensive summary of all rule and ethics changes since 2020, current proposed rules, and practical guides to support your professional practice.

Dr. Rhonda Johnson

She is the founder and owner of the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships, a large, thriving group practice that was established in 2007 and specializes in family systems and trauma-informed approaches. Dr. Johnson is also the founder and owner of CCFAM Training, established in 2012, offering supervision and ethics courses. She is also the owner of Play Therapy Training Resources, established in 2021. Through those companies, she provides continuing education, supervision, and consultations. She is also a teaching fellow for B.H. Carroll Seminary.
