This training incorporates regulations and recommendations for technology along with standards required by HIPAA, PCI, and HiTech for any counseling setting. This training meets the requirements for LMFT licensee requirement each renewal for those offering virtual counseling. Regulations and recommendations for technology are from the Texas LMFT Board, NBCC, AAMFT, ACA, and AMFTRB. A foundation of terms used in telemental health, resources, research, reimbursement codes are included and participants will use examples to submit personalized paperwork including a Telemental Health Informed Consent and Telehealth Informed Consent Supervision Agreement are provided for participants. Participants will be informed of privacy, security, and breach notification standards for HIPAA, PCI, and HiTech as well as administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect client records. Participants will use examples to submit a personalized Business Associate Agreement, Risk Assessments, and Policies and Procedures for their setting.

Dr. Johnson is also the founder and owner of CCFAM Training, established in 2012, offering supervision and ethics courses. She is also the owner of Play Therapy Training Resources, established in 2021. Through those companies, she provides continuing education, supervision, and consultations. She is also a teaching fellow for B.H. Carroll Seminary.
CCFAM Training has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7105. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CCFAM Training is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
