This training incorporates regulations and recommendations for technology use from the Texas LMFT Board, NBCC, AAMFT, ACA, and AMFTRB and includes 15 CE of telemental health training required by the TX LMFT Board. A foundation of terms used in telemental health, resources, research, and reimbursement codes for insurance billing are included. Electronic paperwork including a Telemental Health Informed Consent and Telehealth Informed Consent Supervision Agreement are provided for participants. Standards for HIPAA, PCI, and HiTech as well as examples of Risk Assessments and Policies and Procedures are discussed within the training.
Includes a drive of all necessary telehealth forms to use in your practice.
The training has 10 hours of video and 5 hours of homework built in between the online videos for the training.
Homework assignments must be completed and approved by Dr. Johnson at the end of your training before you will be able to access your evaluation and certificate.

Dr. Johnson has been working in private practice since 1999. She is the owner of Center for Counseling and Family Relationships, a large group private practice, established in 2007. Her practice has 11 counselors, who are serving children, adults, couples, and families by providing services face to face and through telehealth. Dr. Johnson is also an approved supervisor for LPC-S, LMFT-S, and RPT-S. She utilizes face to face, telehealth, group, and individual sessions for her supervision.
